This 4-week class offers a safe and supportive environment where senior citizens can learn the fundamentals of Krav Maga, a practical self-defense system. Tailored specifically for older adults, the program focuses on improving balance, confidence, and personal safety through simple, effective techniques. Each session emphasizes controlled movements, situational awareness, and adapting defenses to individual physical abilities. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to stay active and empowered.
Krav Maga is a self-defense system for everyone. In this course, we will introduce various self-defense techniques and adapt those techniques for any limitations that the students may have.
INSTRUCTOR BIO: Ute Hummler (Click on name)
ATTIRE: Wear comfortable clothing (t-shirt & sweat pants/leggings). We will train barefoot on a soft mat. Please wear some type of shoe into the gym. Leave all jewelry (earrings, piercings, rings, etc) at home. Don't forget to bring water!
