Pepper spray can be a powerful defensive tool—but only if you know how to access it, deploy it, and use it under stress. This practical, hands-on course teaches participants how to carry and access pepper spray, recognize situations where it may be appropriate, establish verbal boundaries, create distance, and use the spray as part of an escape strategy. Students will work through realistic scenarios using inert training devices, including approaches, parking-lot encounters, vehicle situations, and sudden confrontations. The emphasis is on awareness, decision-making, proper deployment, movement, and getting safely away—not standing and fighting. Whether you carry pepper spray every day or have never trained with it before, this course will give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make pepper spray a more effective part of your personal safety plan.
