The main goal of the Unarmed Security Instructor Course is to teach control techniques and tactics to officers and security professionals so that they can perform their duties in a safe, effective, expedient and efficient manner. This 5-day "hand-to-hand" course trains individuals in the use of non-lethal techniques to handle the many scenarios faced by law enforcement and security professionals. The course will be taught by world renowned security expert Shlomi Bouzaglo (IKMF Expert Level 3), and will be held at Invictus Krav Maga. Please read the details below.
This course focuses on the skills, techniques and tactics to enable law enforcement, security professionals and emergency management services to act and perform as efficiently and safely as possible when encountering dangerous situations. Law enforcement, security professionals and emergency management personal from all walks of life (i.e. Krav Maga instructors, Security professionals, Bouncers, Paramedics, Hospital Security, Mall security guards, Special Event Security Staff, casino security guards, prison guards, law enforcement officers, SWAT officers, etc) are welcome to attend.

REQUIREMENTS
The 5 day course is open to all... no previous knowledge of Krav Maga is required. The 7 day course is open to all IKMF Instructors and department DTAC instructors. NOTE: This course is part 1 (unarmed security) of 2 that make up the entire LEIC certification. Part 2 (Armed Security) will be offered at a later date.

Here is what we have been suggesting to folks:
LODGING
The address of our gym is: 12234 Poway Rd, Poway, CA 92064. If you are planning to rent a car, then feel free to do a search for the hotel (or Air BnB) that offers you the best combination of price, accommodations and proximity to the gym.
If you would prefer to not rent a car, the local people attending the course are happy to provide transportation to/from class and to/from the airport, but you would need to stay at 1 of the following 4 hotels:
PRICING
EARLY BIRD PRICING WILL REMAIN IN AFFECT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2025. AFTER SEPTEMBER 30, THE PRICES WILL GO UP by $200. You do not have to pay the entire amount by September 30, but you do have to at least submit your deposit (ie $150) prior to this date.
In addition to the LEIC Course, we will also offer instructor training and testing for those who want or need it. If this is something that interests you, please purchase the "Instructor Training" and/or "Instructor Testing" ticket as well as your LEIC ticket preference.
On day 1, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in & sign/turn in waivers (if you did not already do so):
