Facing an attacker with a knife is a very scary thought... facing an attacker with a knife in a small, closed off enclosure (ie an elevator, stairwell, etc) and not having the ability to run away is even worse. Having the ability to spot potential incidents and having the skills and knowledge to deal with said incidents could mean the difference between life and death. This course will focus on how to be prepared and gain the skills needed to prevent, recognize and increase your ability to survive during a close quarters knife incident.
This reality-based training will address real-life attacks and scenarios taken from actual events occurring in communities here in the United States and those abroad.
Paula Meyers presently holds the rank of Expert 3 in Krav Maga and has been practicing for over 30 years. She is a certified Firearms instructor. She has been certified by the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF) as an Instructor trainer for the Women's Stay Away program and she is part of the Expert Instructor Team (E.I.T) that trains affiliate instructors worldwide.
In addition to Krav Maga, Paula has trained in BJJ.
