Description

This intensive 2-hour seminar is designed to give you practical, real-world skills to escape dangerous situations and avoid abduction. You’ll learn proven techniques to break free from common restraints such as duct tape, zip ties, and handcuffs using leverage, body mechanics, and simple tools you may already have. Beyond escape tactics, the seminar emphasizes prevention—teaching situational awareness, boundary-setting, and decisive techniques and countermeasures to stop an abduction before it begins. Through hands-on drills and scenario-based training, you’ll build confidence, sharpen your instincts, and walk away with the mindset and skills to protect yourself under pressure.


John presently holds the rank of Expert Level 1 in Krav Maga, has been training in Krav Maga since 2012 and is the United States Director for the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF). John is a certified IKMF Law Enforcement instructor, armed and unarmed bodyguard instructor, Tactical Shooting Instructor and has successfully participated in and passed the IKMF Combat Fighter's Instructor Course. On the civilian side, John has been certified by the IKMF as an Instructor for the Women's Stay Away program & IKMF kids program. In addition to Krav Maga, John has trained in Muay Thai, Kali and also holds a Blue Belt in Gracie Combatives, as well as a Blue Belt in sport BJJ. ATTIRE: Wear comfortable clothing (t-shirt & sweat pants/leggings). Leave all jewelry (earrings, piercings, rings, etc) at home. Though we will train barefoot, please wear some type of comfortable shoe/sandel into the gym. Don't forget to bring water!
